That elusive Fiskars border punch that everyone wants has finally arrived in the store. We had several people of a waiting list for it so there are only a couple left. I will be reordering on Monday so if you are not able to get one this weekend ask to put your name on the list for the next shipment.
Also, those gorgeous Prima flowers that I showed a couple of weeks ago are back in stock. Once again they are going fast. Another great embellishment that came in is the summer ribbon spools from American Crafts. The colors are so bright and cheerful and one style has white zig zag stitching down the center and it is so (stinkin') cute!
Our Tag Sale is this Sunday, June 1st from 11am-4pm. Our customers have been dropping off their stuff by the car loads. There is some really awesome stuff here and great prices too. Don'tmiss your chance for some great deals. Oh, if you are a magazine lover or a stamp lover you will have TONS to choose from...
With so much happening at The Inspiration Station every week, I wanted a way to keep my friends up to date. Check back often to see what's new!

Life is busy
This time of year is always a whirlwind of activity and it is so hard to keep up with things like blogging! Yes, the store has cool new stuff, but we are so busy preparing for the Tag Sale this weekend I really haven't had a chance to check it all out so ... you're on your own this week! You need to come in to see what's new!
If you are participating in our Tag Sale, please drop you items off Friday so we can get everthing set up. We are hoping to be able to set some stuff up outside under tents but only if the weather cooperates. Keep your fingers crossed.
On a personal note, I just want to show off my daughter's lovely prom pictures from last weekend.

Don't forget about our troops
Since this weekend is Memorial Day, I wanted to remind everyone about our Cards for Soldiers Drive. I met Dotty Young, coordinator of the Connecticut effort, at CKC in in New Hampshire and she expressed her thanks for all those that have participated so far. I would like to send the next shipment off mid-June so the troops can get the package by Independence Day.
Help our Soldiers communicate with loved ones back home. Create handmade cards that will be sent around the world so our Soldiers can pick up cards free of charge at their local military stores and send notes home.
Stamp on the outside of the cards, leaving the inside blank for special notes. Helpful themes include: Miss you, Anniversary, Happy Birthday, Children, Mother‘s/Father‘s Day and so on. Any age can participate! Submit in sets of 10 handmade cards/envelopes. Volunteers divide up the handmade cards so making ten of the same card is perfectly fine.

We are back from New Hampshire and I *think* fully recovered... We met a lot of very nice people at the crops and are looking forward to doing the Hartford Show.
This week will be crazy, we have classes every night and Friday night is my daughter's Prom; which reminds me I need to pick up her dress at the seamstress....
As a reminder, we will be closed on Monday to celebrate Memorial Day-please come and see us on Sunday instead.

Heading to New Hampshire
This weekend is the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Manchester, NH. Terry and I have been busy packing up a truckload of stuff to take up to sell at the crops on Friday & Saturday night. It's always a challenge to figure out what people are going to want; in fact, it's quite stressful. Donna & Michelle will be holding down the fort while we are gone so stop in and keep them company. If you are going to be at the convention, look for us. We have coupons to give away for the store.

Highlight from my trip
Just a small collection of some of the photos from my trip to Colorado.
My Mom got to spend Mother's Day with both of her kids for the first time in more than 15 years.

A Great Day
What a great day we had celebrating National Scrapbook Day with our special guest from Fiskars! May Flaum, a current lead Fiskateer, arrived with a suitcase full of giveaways for our crop attendees and any customers who came in to say "Hi!". Kelly Jo, a newly chosen Lead Fiskteer and one of the Nifty Fifty came and helped us out answering questions about Fiskars products; and Cheri, another of the Nifty Fifty came in with a cake big enough to feed a football team (or two)!
The ladies who came to crop made out like bandits - between the goodie bags and t-shirts we had for them and all of the stuff May brought. Oh, and our Fiskars sales rep, Karyn, stopped by and gave away stuff too! Colleen C. was the winner of our grand prize drawing and went home with a basket loaded with goodies.
