WHAT

World Card Making Day is a holiday especially for card makers around the world to:

• Celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family
• Kick off (and get a head start on) the holiday card-making season

WHEN

The first Saturday of each October, kicking off the holiday card-making season, the most popular time for creating and sharing handmade greetings.

WHO

The card-making community worldwide, including hobbyists, beginning card makers, manufacturers of card-making products, retail sellers of products, educators, and press are invited to come together to celebrate this holiday and creative passion.

Flower Soft is in

We have Flower Soft! Including the brand new WHITE which looks awesome on cards as snow! Ooh, and Santa's beard, white fur, and so much more. Donna will be using it in a shaker card to make a snow globe in an upcoming class. It is so awesome!

Big Sale this Sunday

This is it! This Sunday is our annual Parking Lot Sale.
Boxes are packed with an unbelievable amount of stuff to be sold at crazy low prices.
In fact, I am still coming across stuff we haven't even gotten to. Some of that is just going to have to wait until the Tag Sale in September...

We've had a lot of requests for previews or early entry - Sorry, but that just wouldn't be fair to others. The sale is first-come, first served.

Here's the details:
When: This Sunday - August 16 beginning at 11:00am
What: You name it, we have it at crazy low prices!

Fine Print regarding Parking Lot Merchandise

• All sales are final
  
• No other discounts will apply
• Purchases do NOT earn Craft Currency
• PLS items must be paid for OUTSIDE
• Cash or Checks only at outside registers
• No entry before 11:00am
  

This our most popular sale event and we get loads of people from all over the area, so to help make things run smoothly I'd like to offer the following tips:

• Bring reusable shopping bags, our baskets go quickly
• Arrive early for best selection (but not before 11am!)
• Store merchandise cannot be taken out to parking lot.
• Park in the Warren Mills lot - no cars allowed in our back lot that day.
• Bring your checkbook! There are lots of great deals but we cannot accept credit cards outside, you don't want to get caught short of cash.
• Be prepared for the crowds & please be patient with our staff :)
• Be sure to come in to the store and see what great stuff we have inside too!
