No time to blog

Wow, can it really be a month since I last posted? I really don't know how people manage to update theirs on a daily basis- I barely have time to get through all of my emails! Of course, If I didn't spend so much time lurking on the boards and reading other people's blogs(My favorite is: http://www.kellicrowe.typepad.com/), I would have more time to do it myself:)

I did get to wander around Borders Books for an hour or so yesterday. I needed time to let the Novacaine from the dentist wear off before I went back to work. Anyway, I went in for one book - Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life by Amy Rosenthal, because the girls over at Big Picture Scrapbooking recommended it. An hour later I came out with 4 books and $70 less in my wallet - I really need to use the library more...

In addition to "Ordinary Life" I also came across the infamous "Bitch" book and had to grab it. I plan to tear it apart and use its pages in my Book of Me. The other books I picked up were, The Ups and Downs of Raising a Bipolar Child and The Bipolar Child. I figure since my son is pretty stable right now (knock on wood), I could get some reasearch done and maybe be better prepared for the next "event". As a plus, my daughter is doing her Health class research paper on Bipolar Disorder, so she can use the books for reference. (Yes, honey, that bill was for school supplies for your daughter....)

We had our ATC group meeting last night. Some of the cards the ladies made were just fabulous - made mine look like crap compared to their's. Oh well, there's always next month.

We've had a ton of new papers arrive at the store in the last week. Yesterday was the new Scenic Route, which I love. We really have way too much inventory at the store but I can't seem to stop buying! We ran a paper sale over the weekend and on Saturday alone we sold 609 sheets of paper! It didn't even make a dent. The March EK stuff should arrive any day - who knows where that's gonna go. We packed up most of the beads to free up a display to put all of the Heidi Swapp stuff on; it looks good.

We managed to get all 275 class kits for the CK Convention packed up, now we have to ship them to Utah. We are doing a lot more with the convention this year and man, it's a lot of work! I sure hope it's worth it in the end. Only time will tell. So...who's going? I'm talking about the CK Convention in Manchester, NH May 18-20. Anyone?
